The 2018 Marvel Iron Man silver coin is the fourth release in the Marvel coin series by the Perth Mint for the Pacific island nation of Tuvalu.

The limited mintage coin (only 50,000 coins worldwide) is the latest coin struck in .999 fine silver by the Perth Mint, Australia. The mint’s quality and craftsmanship can be seen in the detailed reverse design featuring Marvel’s most fascinating characters, Iron Man.

Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, is master of the quick quip and known for his ability to shoot a plasma beam from the palm of his hand. Contrary to popular belief, his iconic suit is not made from iron but from a lightweight alloy of nickel and titanium called Nitinol.
